A Road of Two Halves

It appears that one half of our road has organised a Jubilee street party this afternoon, without telling or inviting anyone from our half. This has caused a fair amount of upset judging by reactions on the local Facebook group.
I might get a deckchair and some popcorn ready in case it all kicks off later… (photos tomorrow if it does!)
