The Wharfe

Today was another catch up with my past type of day. Yesterday I met up with over a dozen people I haven’t seen for over 16 years. I also met up with a student who I first taught when she was 11 and now she’s 35!
Today I met up with a colleague from the same school who I have known and kept in touch with throughout my 10 year sojourn in NZ (he and his wife came out to see me twice). Today we went for a pub lunch followed by a cuppa at their house in Pool in Wharfedale.
Heading home I realised I hadn’t taken a shot all day so I stopped off in Wetherby for a slow shutter shot of the Wharfe.

I feel truly blessed to know the people I do and to have the friends I have. Blessed indeed
