Summer song

No blips for a few days, head not good.

But today I am having an unexpected and thoroughly delightful day off with my husband, and on a short walk around the lake we were rewarded with the beautiful song of this warbler, who kindly stayed still long enough to pose for a photograph.

Even though it sometimes seems like there is no happiness left in the world, nature is always there to remind us that it exists in the little things.
