Thick-legged Flower Beetle

A photography day of extremes. 

First I dropped my other half in Market Drayton early this morning and he walked his way back home. More training for his forthcoming Coast to Coast walk. 

Then I went to Trentham Gardens for more bugs and insects.

And finally this evening our camera club went to The Roaches for our first summer evening outing.(see extra). We didn't go far and walked up Hen Cloud to take a few photos.

Unfortunately, there had been a climbing accident and the air ambulance had been called. It took them a couple of hours to get the climber off the ridge and away to hospital. We all hoped everything was ok?
