A quiet morning
this Sunday, in contrast to the previous three days as the country celebrated the Queens' Platinum Jubilee marking 70 years as monarch. Fine weather and a new national holiday brought many visitors here, their ground sheets, tables, chairs and gazebos - the ground was covered. Food stalls, the helter-skelter and carousel were in full swing. This morning brought early heavy rain and I suppose the prospect of resuming work tomorrow led to this lonely scene.
Later a fly past of Hurricanes and a parachute display will I am sure bring many people back.
