Hubby and I spent hours planting the sunflower garden today. I thought about the people of the Ukraine the whole time. We were so hot and tired yet I realized it was a picnic compared to the pain all the people of the Ukraine must be feeling. I will never feel the same way about sunflowers I did a few years ago. It felt a little sad but I have seen storms come through our yard and blow down all the sunflowers and with a little help they stand strong again and raise their heads high. This is my hope for all those brave, patriotic people. I'll blip the sunflowers if they come up later this summer.
