Prickly Character

This is a cactus that has resided about 10 years in our kitchen window. Being a prickly character, no one in the family has bestowed that little bit of TLC that would go to its upkeep. As can be seen by the photo, the plant in this time has acquired numerous extras which have gone into changing that characteristic shape and form of the cactus. The sharp needles have become little more than coat hangers for the detritus of the last decade.
