Crarae Gardens

I spent a final few hours with Lando this morning then I left at midday. The weather was glorious so I decided to stop at Crarae Gardens. A lot of the rhododendrons were past flowering but there was still plenty to see. I then stopped at the Tree Shop garden centre as I needed a bit of retail therapy after leaving my family! I treated myself to a mature rhododendron, I know where it will go in the garden but it needs a bit of work first.
Unfortunately I got stuck in a traffic jam at the side of Loch Lomond for about 50 minutes. It was roasting in the car so I was glad when we finally got moving again.
Spent the evening watching the Party at the Palace and started a cross stitch for the gift swap at work.
