Jubilee Badge

Today's the day ...................... to mark the occasion

An action-packed day when we were out and about, attending a variety of social gatherings - but when I somehow took very few pictures.

It started with Josie's 4th Birthday Party in Moniaive.  She's not actually four years old until 12th June - so this was a bit like the way the Queen has an official  birthday.  It was most enjoyable and Queen Josie was in excellent form.

Then there was the Tongland & Ringford Jubilee Jamboree in the Village Hall in Ringford - with lashings of fine food, good music, games to play and much else.  That's where we were given the official Platinum Jubilee badges as above.  And finally, we were invited for drinks and nibbles with good friends in Kirkcudbright who were hosting another Jubilee gathering.

All in all, we're Jubilee-ed out - and there's still another day to go .............!
