A Right Royal Swim

It was flag blowing weather down at the Quays this morning. I just about managed to keep my crown jammed on my head as we swam around the dock. The sun was shining and the water was just over fifteen degrees. We were the only two who dressed up but lots of swimmers stopped and commented, sang Rule Britannia and just smiled with us.

As we stood on our balcony (the first floor of the car park looking over the dock) we raised a glass of fizz (Shloer) to Liz and had a piece of cake. It was a grand Saturday morning.

This afternoon it was a Platijube afternoon tea at Ellen’s. I’m all caked out now.
