The Tay Rail Bridge

The weather in Scotland has been glorious today, hot and sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Well we made it to the outskirts of Dundee last night so after a hearty breakfast we explored Dundee for a few hours. The V&A outpost is extremely striking and I enjoyed the Michael Clark exhibition very much. I’ve seen his shows twice in London but wasn’t aware of some of his collaborations, nor that he was born in Aberdeen.

It’s a beautiful drive to the granite city of Aberdeen and after a quick check-in we’re on the move again, heading north to visit Mr C’s mum. We’re on cooking duty tonight which I think means a pizza stop.

This picture was taken whilst exploring the cemetery in Dundee’s Balgay Park. I was intrigued to spot the Tay Rail Bridge through the trees at the edge of the cemetery.
