Sunrise

Woke up early and noticed a pleasing sunrise from our bedroom balcony so couldn't resist taking a photograph; the island in the distance is Lefkada.

Late morning, with temperatures starting to climb towards 30C we went on a short walk from our villa to the well of Kalamos (see extra) and by the time we got back I was dripping in sweat and needing a shower!

Early afternoon we drove the half hour to Vathi (the main town on the island of Ithaca) for an iced coffee where we had one before. Easy to while away an hour people watching. We stopped off at a beach on the way back and by this time temperatures were at least 34C !
