The changing of the guard

Our swallow pair chose the right hand nest box after an April argument with a pair of bluebirds over the left hand nest box they had occupied last year. Surprisingly the bluebirds appear to have won this round and seem to be in the  left hand box , though I don't see them going in and out much. Papa has been in the trees and bugging around the box. Hoping for babies!
