Downtown……. Riverside Park

We had rain overnight and woke this morning to cold temperatures and frost touching a very wet environment. Maisie and I walked downstream and ventured beyond our usual turning point. We walked as far as the Raupo Cafe and crossed the river via the “Crinoline Bridge”, an arched footbridge. Early this afternoon the boys next door celebrated their 13th birthday. They are triplets and are delightful lads to have as neighbours. They had a big family gathering and I witnessed the birthday boys blowing out the candles on each individual birthday cake. And yay! They now have a puppy to love.
