From grey to great

A fresh - nay cold - grey start to the day. We had decided to abort a trip to North Berwick. Instead we went inland to Falkirk to go on the boat trip at the Falkirk Wheel. See extra. The unique system moves boats up and down the canals. If I recall correctly a 27 m drop.

As we set off on the trip the skies cleared and we had a very informative and entertaining trip.

As the weather was so good we then went on to Helix Park for a walk around the Kelpies. I’ve not been up beside them since one of the opening evenings back in 2014. See blip of 17 April that year.

As impressive as ever. Many photos taken and many potential candidates for the main blip. but I particularly liked this one.

It was a great afternoon out.
