Making an Effort

Our bowls club held its annual President's Day this year to coincide with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations and so we were invited to wear some red, white and blue while playing. I donned a red & white hat, blue polo shirt, white shorts and these socks, which I kept on for band rehearsal this evening as you can see.

Mrs K's mum and dad came round to ours for afternoon tea with scones, jam and cream. Jam on first of course, the proper way :-)
