My sense of humour

The village of Gressingham is well decked out with flags and bunting and tomorrow they are having a village fate, all to celebrate the platinum jubilee. Along side that they seem to be having a satirical scarecrow festival, this is one of a half dozen or so we saw just driving through.
I am not sure who the gentleman claiming this is not a party (despite all the empty bottles) actually is meant to be but maybe the hair style and the door number are clues.
We had a very warm and sunny day here, lots of dead heading, grass cutting and strimming done. The day drew to a close with both of us drinking the pink gin bought on our distillery tour whilst sitting in the arbor in the top corner of the garden, this project being  (finally) completed.
Hope you are all having a good jubilee long weekend
