Raise your glass to the Queen

For 70 years on the throne and her 96th birthday. What an amazing achievement. For most of us she’s always been there as our Queen. I’ve been to several events when she was there and I’ve spoken to Prince Philip.

Not quite the weather that the forecast predicted today. I did some gardening in the rain.

I was planning on going to HtP’s to make pizzas and sit by the outside fire but my son is not having the best of times with his girlfriend so I didn’t go. I’m staying at home in case he needs to talk. I’m making the most of the time to learn words for a concert on 4th July.

And I didn’t plant this rose. It climbes over the fence and is looking rather lovely at the moment.
