Neighbourhood Jubilee Street Party

Like many other communities across the country, we got together with our neighbours for a street party to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee this afternoon.

It was held in the relatively new close opposite our house and we got to catch up with old friends and meet new neighbours we’d not spoken to before. A great event to bring everyone together.

It turns out that one of them from the new close is a full time oven cleaner and part time magician and he put on a really entertaining  magic show at the end of the afternoon, just as the heavens opened and drove everyone inside.
