A Crowded Stag Do At The Jubilee, Yalding
We decided to do another micro trip to another quintessentially English village today. This time we chose Yalding, somewhere we hadn't been for many years. It's a beautiful place and the weather was a perfect match being very sunny and warm. When we got there one of the main roads through the village was being set up for a big Jubilee party. Tables were being dressed, food and drink was being supplied and bunting was everywhere. It was a real hive of activity. We decided to repair to one of the pubs and sit outside for a cool drink in the shade. It was all so lovely and relaxing.
Today's image was taken outside an antique shop in the village. I liked the idea of a stag and a rocking horse having a conversation over a beverage to salute the Queen!
