This afternoon we walked up to the community gardens in the village to meet our son, daughter-in-law and the girls to watch the musical event which had been arranged for the Queen’s Jubilee. There was a Ukelele band on first followed by the ATN choir which quite a lot of my friends and fellow choir members were singing in. It was also lovely to finally meet fellow blipper Jeanneb53 who was singing in the choir. After that the Hot Aire band were playing, which also had a few members of my Baildon choir in and who we performed alongside with the Ilkley choir at the concert for Ukraine a couple of weeks ago.
The weather was lovely, warm and sunny and it was so nice to see the gardens packed with people enjoying the occasion.
Afterwards we walked down to Moorside and along gill beck through the woods before coming back up to home via Tong Park Dam where one of the horses came over to see us.
