Lorna poems

Thank you so much Hazel hand Bruce from the Lorna Podcast project . This arrived a couple of days ago and it’s only today I got around to photographing and posting

Today has been really busy. Up early and at St. John’s in Egham by 8:45 to set up the cream tea stand ready for the fete. We reckon we served 400 people with scones and cake. We knew how many of each we had. Then there were the teas and coffee which someone else looked after. Alan was on washing up duty from1pm to 4:30 when someone else took over. They that was going to help had covid and was still testing positive today and felt really unwell this morning. Home now and just had a lovely chicken salad on Wimpy. Sadly it’s all they do that I can eat these days. Now to put my very sore feet up and relax til Sunday
