Stripes

I really wanted to get my ironing finished today, but then I started watching the Jubilee service from St Paul’s Cathedral. It was a beautiful service with splendid music, excellent sermon, thoughtful prayers and elegant clothes. Another great BBC broadcast.
By the time it was over there were other jobs to be done, so once again the ironing is left.
Before Christmas I was presented with a large basket of house plants. It has been beautiful, but the plants have grown rather large and it has become difficult to keep them watered. So this afternoon I dismantled the display and repotted the six plants. Now I have to find space for six new house plants!
Roses are continuing to delight. This one is called Ferdinand Picard.
