Garden fair

Weeks ago C had seen an advert for the garden fair at Scone Palace and we booked tickets. A day and event which promised much but sadly didn’t quite deliver. The sun never quite broke through and there were fewer stalls than we had expected. However we had a good day with a gentle meander around the Palace grounds and the essential stop for coffee and cake.

The flower borders were full of a range of irises of which this was my favourite.
