Jubilee flowers

Thanks everyone for your kind words the other day. I am still in hospital but as I missed the Jubilee tea party yesterday my friend sent in one of these lovely flower arrangements she had made to go on the tables.
I was actually allowed some soup today, first food since last Saturday. A nurse just popped her head in and asked if I’d like a scone with jam and cream. As soon as the words were out of her mouth she remembered I can’t have solid food. She was so embarrassed and gave herself a slap on the wrist !
