"R.I.P Mike"

Today is a sad day. I found out that a good friend of many years passed away and the funeral was last week. He phoned me a few weeks ago to say he was in a hospice and would be in touch soon.
Over the years he has worked for many charities, one of them being an orphanage that we raised money for in Bulgaria.
Mike was a concert pianist and played for senior citizens Christmas parties and everyone always had a fabulous time whenever he "tickled the ivories"
Mike always had a smile for young and old, never forgot a birthday, never missed an appointment. He was kind, considerate and funny. I first met him when he was a Bluecoat at Pontins many years ago. He used to come to Glossop regularly so has many friends here. His funeral was packed, the service. fitting tribute to a lovely man. Rest in peace Mike, we will all miss you xxx
