One show ends, another begins

Today i started rehearsals on Barassi:The Stage Show. Getting up at 7am after getting home from the Comedy Festival gigs at 2am was not fun! plus it was cold and wet!!
Rehearsals are at Arena Theatre Co in Nth melb, its a pretty good space to use for rehearsing.
I'm just dresser on this show, my old friend Tom is working on it-i forget as what.. Maybe production manager or some sort of producer.... I should really find out haha anyway Tom said to me in passing one day that he was probably going to need a dresser for a gig and put my name down. I've been dressing for about 9/10 years drag shows, fashion shows and theatre. Its a fun gig because it has less responsibility than stage management or producing. As its really my first big gig back at work since Dad passed away, the less responsibility for the time being-the better. Tonight is also the last performance of our Comedy Festival show Drama Queens. I had a few hours nap between gigs but doing a 10:30pm show after 9;30am rehearsals was not what i wanted to do! Finally made it home with Bev and Tony, via Maccas lol and i have all Friday to sleep before the crazy two weeks thats about to start
