Inspirational Blades

Richard Whitehead, the world and Olympic champion blade runner, competed in todays London IPC Athletics Marathon World Cup (part of the main Marathon event) after being denied the chance in the Paralympics.

Pictured here, passing adoring crowds in Greenwich, Richard completed the marathon in 03:15:53 placing him first in the T42 category.
