Even In Silhouette......

,,,,the Heron Rule applies!  This is that same Green Heron that I photographed in the creek earlier in the week.  Jane and I saw him fly and land up there and it is just so unusual to see him sitting up there with his neck somewhat extended that I fell in love with this shot.  The early morning overcast sky provided the perfect backdrop to showcase him, so I have done nothing, but crop and put a frame around the photo.....
