Gardening!

I chose the Trooping of the Colour over the gym this morning. But by the time the troops had started trooping, I had taken all the old plants out of the garden in readiness for JR planting the new ones when she came home. The morning was warm and sunny, but it deteriorated a bit for the rest of the day. I also helped by sweeping up and washing the path. But JR did all the hard bending down work.

I also spent the morning arranging our next holiday! We don’t fancy any airports for a while, with all the recent news of horrendous queues and cancellations (we were very lucky with our recent incident-free flights) so we’re going on a touring holiday - the NC500! It’s a trip we’ve long been wanting to do, though we’ve done parts of it. A bit of juggling required with Archie’s holiday arrangements, and it’s not quite settled yet, but it will be. 

For lunch I made a ‘mug muffin’ again - this is getting to be a bit of a habit.
