. . . but not an E-car! Some classic car owners are converting them to electric vehicles, but I don’t really see the point, especially as the sound of the Citroen 2CV or Deux Chevaux or our Francoise’s two cylinder boxer engine is such a large part of its character.

For those interested, and I may have shared this before, the term ‘boxer engine’ comes from the fact that opposing cylinders fire at exactly the same time reminding people of human boxers touching their gloves before their match begins.
