A walk by the sea

We headed off driving west until we reached the sea at Lytham St Annes. Parked in Lytham, we walked along to the Fair Haven lake, then continued on to the St Annes beach, where I took this picture. The two walking people closest to the camera are Jan and Jude.
Our planned coffee stop at a cafe here was cancelled as there were a lot of people there, so we headed back, via a delicious ice-cream at the Fair Haven lake.
My picture is taken about 90 minutes before high tide, but the tides are gentle just now and the sea stayed well away.
