Welsh poppies

In the gravel garden at the front of the house these self-seeded Welsh poppies are in full bloom. The number and variety of self-seeded plants has increased this year to include foxgloves, hellebores and two varieties of grass. The gardening required is to take out those not required or becoming too rampant (e.g the alchemilla mollis.)
Shopping this morning before spending the rest of the day in the garden tidying and planting some more seeds for succession crops.
