Backblip

Yesterday(Wednesday), we travelled down to London. Hubby’s sister is in hospital with terminal cancer which is just c**p.  She’s only 54. 
Anyway, the journey wasn’t pleasant and it took us well over 5 hours, so we arrived pretty shattered.  We are staying with his brother and sister-in-law and the evening weather was lovely so they did an impromptu BBQ which was just delicious. 
After the sun went down we retired indoors to watch Top Gun as neither of the men had seen it and as I want to see the sequel, they have a duty to watch the first one don’t you think? :) 
Needless to say, we girls enjoyed it way more than the men, but then it’s not aged as well as I imagined. 

I will not be commenting whilst we are away, but will endeavour to catch up when we return on Saturday. Please don’t feel like you have to comment if I manage to actually post something whilst we are away.
