Post box topper

A post box topper has appeared in the village complete with Crown Jewels and two Coldstream Guardsmen, with correct plume and button formation.

I can’t begin to imagine which idiot has spent hours knitting, crocheting, and glue gunning but it looks bright and cheerful and is another piece in the jigsaw of community involvement in the village. We are so blessed to live somewhere that still retains a village atmosphere and has a thriving community spirit.

Street part this afternoon and then fanfare playing at the lighting of the Beacon at 21:45 so a busy day ahead , including making memories with Libby!
