Lesser Male Stag Beetle

I had a full day off. Started with Guinea pigs then I went back to a friends place to try to find some bugs in her garden.
Wasn't particularly successful until I got this beautiful  Lesser Male Stag Beetle.
The Z7ii I actually find harder to get macro than the D850. Not sure why unless its the EVF. I find it dark and the focus peaking always seems to bring my bugs out out of focus. My focus hit rate is not good. However I wont be beaten I will persevere. I have had a couple of stunningly good ones but I did spend ages getting some shots of Red Ants.
