I was moving my chair and table into position to watch the never before seen meteor shower. I had a camera on the patio so I was able to snag the little fella. No time for adjustments so I flipped it on auto so it would flash. He looks a little ragged. I figured he would already be falling into torpor but was still nipping before bed.

As to the meteor shower, no one knew if it was going to be a boom (thousands per hour) or a bust. I did see a couple dozen but it was mostly a bust. Looking forward to my favorite meteor shower, the Perseids in August.
