Flushed with success following Saturday’s toaster repair, today I took the garden bbq table to the welders. Two of the legs had completely rusted away. And lo! Four new legs, a new lease of life, £60 and ready by 3pm. Am delighted.

Before that I felt a bit of work worry this morning. All sorted by a sea swim, lunch and fabric shopping with Kate, all good now. Home for cooking stuff and all the bank holidays still to come.
