Croabh Yacht Haven

Got up this morning to another beautiful sunny day. Before breakfast I took a walk up the hill to Tarbert Castle, a ruin situated very attractively on top of the hill with a beautiful view......took photographs of course. Then after breakfast we reluctantly left, heading towards Oban via Ardfern...... most beautiful journey along the coast with fantastic views over the Firth of Lorne and looking towards Mull. My photograph is taken when we stopped at the yacht haven, such a beautiful place we had remembered from another visit, and looking towards Shuna with Luing behind..... just fantastic and the sea was like glass.

Stopped for a visit to Arduane Gardens, after coffee in the hotel, walked for a couple of hours, just beautiful spring gardens, perfect. We then headed up through Kilmartin Glen, a glen of great Scottish history, and on to Oban for a walk around, Oban was very busy and looked great. Love watching the big ferries going and coming from the islands.

Then a three hour drive home after a wonderful trip.
