Sydney Town Hall

Tonight we attended a Sydney Symphony Orchestra performance at the Sydney Town Hall. For the last two years this has been the Orchestra's home while the concert hall at the Opera House was being renovated.

The Town Hall was built in the late 19th century in the Victorian style. It is very ornate, stylish and hosts many events and activities. My photo is a detail of the ceiling and a wall which have all the shapes, geometry and patterns one could want.
