Main Street

We seemed to make several trips up and down the Main Street Grand Canal today. Our last full day in Venice in this trip.

We started with a visit to the market. Having taken the wrong vaporetto we watched as we passed by, before alighting some way past and taking another vaporetto to return to the market.

We then boarded another vaporetto to visit the Ca’ Razzonico. Lunch in San Barnaba followed before another vaporetto to San Zaccaria. Here we made a visit to the Giardini Reali where we also had a coffee.

Then by vaporetto over to Zattere for a pre dinner drink, before walking back to our hotel. Naturally, it being our last evening, we stopped for cicchetti and a glass of wine on the way. Finally dinner at Cantinone Storico next door to our hotel.
