Little pleasures

Johnny mowed this morning so I sat outside and read and had my prayer time. It was so relaxing until I knocked my coffee over and broke the cup! :—) But that didn’t ruin it. 3 of the ducks are free roamers as they usually stay on the pond. However, they’ve started coming to the yard when they hear us. So funny. I found the two girls laying breakfast in flower beds!! I was so happy because they lay rich yummy eggs! I noticed Busby watching them too! He loves their eggs and he beat me to one of them but I got the other! See Duckie fussing at me in the extra!
When Johnny got home, I got my basket and made a trip around the garden, flowers, and orchard gathering roses, herbs, bee balm and a few plums. I made little bouquets for the kitchen as well as some tea with mint, sage, and oregano. It was a lazy day. I’ve had body aches all day so I’ve taken it easy.
