Tractors

My husband Joe and I went to the California Antique Farm Equipment Show today. This picture shows him looking at a Farmall Cub. There were people driving old tractors all over the grounds and lots of old farm vehicles of all kinds, plus antique hit and miss engines, one of which was being used to churn ice cream. (it was delicious - chocolate with raspberries).

Yesterday afternoon on our way to Tulare, where the show was held, we had a sudden flat tire on our Airstream trailer, out in the middle of some vast farmland. Joe changed the tire without too much trouble and we went on to Fresno instead if the Sierra foothills where we had planned to stay - we wanted to get a new spare tire. Then this morning we went to a breakfast place that had been recommended but it had recently burned down. We had a nice leisurely drive back home this afternoon, with no surprises, thank goodness.
