Ladies in hats…

We’ve had a busy morning of preparation and then a wonderful afternoon! Such a happy time together. Our Women’s Fellowship group. Small but a great place to be!

I’d bought metres of ribbon to decorate hats. The ladies managed well a time line of The Queen’s 70 year reign and a word search. Tea was wonderful, sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and cake.

I’m looking forward to looking at the photos on my camera but too tired this evening. These are a great group of ladies and it’s been a wonderful day. Much input by the team to make it all happen.

Many gratefuls today. Remembering friends who are having tough and difficult days right now. Tomorrow is the funeral and thanksgiving service for our friend Margaret who passed away in March after the operation to remove the aneurysm on her brain. She would have been here with us today. She’d have loved it.
