April In Paris

Actually it was April in Sarasota!

Fortunately after a good day of rest, I was able to attend a black tie gala for Children First that we sponsored this evening. I really was happy to be able to attend this with my husband as it was a lovely event for a very important social service. It is a Head Start program that provides early intervention and education to the economically disadvantaged children in Sarasota.

The theme was April in Paris and the prettiest thing for the whole evening was the atrium where the silent auction was held.

Off to bed as it is almost midnight. Hope to catch up tomorrow.
