Beautiful meadow

No Mow May has gone well here, we have counted 38 orchids in our wildflower meadow as well as a lovely selection of other flowers. The yellow rattle is having an outstanding season and has reduced the vigour of the grasses quite noticeably. And the orchids are in the areas of least grass so that’s obviously important to their success.
I feel it has been a cold month though and the veg is progressing rather slowly. Hoping June will pick up a bit.
