Tiny Petunias - aka Calibrachoa
We knew today’s outside temps were going to be miserable, so we got up and took care of a few tasks. We had to take my van to have the coolant flushed and replaced. It seems there are major car maintenance jobs needed every week lately. I worked in the front flower garden, pulling weeds and extra bee balm so we can walk in there. These tiny blooms caught my eye. I have several hanging baskets with various colors so you’ll probably see others before they lose their beauty. I am hoping to get outside each morning to tidy up my gardens. Weeds pop up constantly. We are having our house power washed this afternoon; reaching three levels is simply too hard for hubby. We had to move any obstructions to that job: wind chimes, flower pots, outside furniture, etc. Hubby went to the convenience center to get rid of recycling and trash. Then he picked up a few groceries, pet supplies. The heat (91°F) sent us inside where I worked on the graduation favors, have less than a week to finish. My sister and BIL stopped by to pick up a few things. Otherwise, it was a relatively quiet day. Kristen took her senior Dan for a check up. Great news: they found no major issues and told her she was fortunate to have had him so long. He’s such a fabulous pet. I guess Fr. Bill is quarantining at my cousins; glad he was on two week’s leave. Have heard no other news. The tv has been off for days. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe. “Gardens are not made by singing ‘Oh, how beautiful,’ and sitting in the shade.” – Rudyard Kipling
