Workshopping
I’m running a full day workshop today. The room is setup and ready to roll. There are desks and power sockets and a projector and a flip chart.
It’s been a few years since I ran this course. It used to be second nature, but today I’m rusty. Nonetheless the punters (18 of them) seem to be engaged. They participate actively and even return after lunch :)
The AC stops working after lunch which is distinctly unpleasant. Try groups get through the material shortly after lunch, which is unusual if not unprecedented. They wisely choose to escape the heat. The rest of us plug in until 6:00.
I eat in the bar, give VAT advice, lobby our engineering VP about estimates, and generally have a lazy evening.
