Repaired

The first three antique Persian carpets are back - washed, de-mothed, holes mended, fringes repaired. Number four will have to stay in the workshop for another few weeks; it’s the biggest of the lot and had the most damage. 

I am not going to take them back into my mother’s house. She essentially lives in just two rooms now, and her carer sleeps in my old room. All other parts of the house don’t get used (or cleaned) regularly, and they are still infested with clothes moths. 

So these beauties will stay in our house, and become oversized cat beds.
