Leaving Portsmouth

We were in a stationary queue for two hours until past the time the ferry was to depart, but eventually got onboard. The children and their parents are with us, and were keen to explore the ship, play in the childrens area, bust a few moves on the dance floor to the disco music, and eventually keen go to bed! 
We haven’t been onboard a ferry which departed over an hour past its allotted time, with no reason given, but I suspect it’s due to the fact that this was the first super busy one, and they are all out of practice!
